We were contacted by an anti-Choking Game organization as they prepared to expand from local to international. After some research, we renamed their organization GASP (Games Adolescents Shouldn’t Play) and helped them develop impactful and versatile educational tools.

The Choking Game is a deadly asphyxiation activity that kids “play” because they mistakenly think it’s safer than drugs. Since we aimed to reach 11-14 year olds, we wrote and designed materials directed at a younger audience—a large reason GASP eventually achieved their goal of being picked up by the anti-drug DARE program.

When developing their new website, we continued that focus on appealing to young readers while making the information easy to navigate and understand by anyone. gaspinfo.com

Because of the association’s high web traffic (around 1 million hits per month), making it easy to donate money and download resources was key; the new design transformed their site into their primary fundraising and press tool. gaspinfo.com

We also adapted GASP’s educational PowerPoint into a Flash presentation (complete with animation, voiceover and music) that can play on any DVD player, so their volunteers don’t need to personally present to every school in North America. gaspinfo.com
