With their words echoing in our heads, we set our own passionate problem solvers to the task of designing a brand brimming with as much personality as CTM has on tap when you work with them in person.

The CTM crew is a high-energy bunch, so getting together for our kick-off strategy session inevitably led to enlightening exercises, prize-filled games and a deep dive into what sets CTM apart from the rest of the heating and cooling pack. The answer: Expertise, attentiveness and approach—and that attitude we keep mentioning.
A Whole New Breed of Mechanical Contractor
Our goal for CTM’s messaging and positioning was to move the brand identity beyond its focus on the company’s president by developing a personality that was witty, embodied the spirits of everyone on staff and hit on CTM’s central differentiators in a highly engaging way.
Visually, we incorporated their existing logo into a robust identity system that includes fonts, accent colors, patterns and custom photography—from a shoot we organized and art directed—that gives the brand a visual language as bold and human as its new personality. All while reinforcing CTM’s reputation as a refreshing alternative to other mechanical contractors.
To make sure the new CTM really sings with the team, their values also got the brand treatment, blown up larger-than-life and plastered around their workspace.

To give the CTM team the tools to share their engaging new brand, we designed business cards that balance an ultra-friendly font-driven hello with a subtle spot varnish and a growing series of sell sheets that make services like underfloor air distribution installation more informative and entertaining than the industry norm.
